I love you, not only for what you are, But for what I am when I am with you---

What is Better? A lie that draws a smile

The truth that draws a tear? 

I wish I could wake up and forget about you---

I wish I was a pencil' and erase my mistakes'

Thinking about the past made me laugh

Fall in love when you're ready-- not when you feel alone --

The only vowels I need are "u" and "i"--

When you think you're not happy with your life' always think that someone is happy simply because you exist '

Would you just listen and please don't say a word, just yet,

I'd like you to think back to the very first time we met,

How you felt around me' The memories we shared.

And just remember that once upon a time you really cared.

Now think about how we parted and how much I cried,

But please don't speak' remember that I never lied'

That I told you the  truth about why we were to split'

But now I'd like you to know that my heart broke bit by bit.

The pain was deep, unbearable and painful'

I'll never forget all the sadness, all the uncontrollable tears,

Slowly I am rebuilding my life, I am contented with what I've got,

And though it's hard for me to live without you

You were a special part of my life that I will never forget, 

A part of my life that broke my heart, but that I don't regret,

You gave me happy memories that I'll keep in my heart,

I wish that you and I didn't have to part.

You were my first love and my true love' and forever you will be

After all of the heartaches, sadness and never ending pain, I know,

You and I had something special and that will never change,

Because I love you and loving someone else will always seem strange.

Would you just listen and please don't say a word, not ever,

I'd like you to remember that once upon a time, we said forever,

That I had hopes and dreams, that I was the one who threw them away,

And this is something I will always regret until my dying day.

Forever is a long time

To require in a single command

I will write our love in a rhyme

For it would be my demand

Lost in a kiss

Our love is my ambition

So I wished upon the star

The star that remind me of you

My actions seemed bizarre

But this wish I had to pursue

If I had one wish

My wish would be you

And since I made that wish

My wish has come true...
